The quality of a citizenship programme is visible in what it refuses. Screening is the feature, not the inconvenience.
Families sometimes arrive hoping the process can be accelerated past background review. That hope is misplaced. St. Kitts and Nevis has spent recent years emphasising independent screening, interviews and source-of-funds evidence.
The main applicant must attend an interview. Dependants aged sixteen or over may be asked to attend as well. These steps exist to protect the passport’s standing — which is the very asset applicants are trying to obtain.
What a serious file looks like
A serious file is consistent. Names match across documents. Wealth can be narrated from origin to present account. Police certificates are current. There are no unexplained gaps.
Where the history is complex — business exits, multiple jurisdictions, family gifts — the work is to make it legible, not to hide it. Concealment is the fastest way to a refusal.
